We are a training centre for boatmen and boatmasters. Our instructors are working boatmasters, you train on a simulator, and you gain practice on real ships.

Europe’s rivers are short of young boatmen and boatmasters. On top of that, new rules for crews have applied since May 2022. That is why we opened our own academy in 2024.

Classroom
Boatmasters explain the theory. Simply, with examples from real work.

Simulator
You practise manoeuvres and emergencies without risk. The simulator is approved by the Slovak Transport Authority.

Starting in Hlohovec
TMLG s.r.o. and TFLP s.r.o. are founded. We find crews for ships and also start in Děčín.

New rules
The legislation for crews changes. We open offices in Poland and Hungary.

TMLG Schweiz GmbH is founded, based in Boll.

Where the academy began
TMLG Academy
On 27 June we open our classroom with a certified simulator. TMLG Deutschland GmbH is founded too.

We have crews behind us.
The academy is part of TMLG Group, a shipping company that provides qualified crews for clients’ vessels across Europe.
You do not have to search for practice blindly. On the training course you are employed by TMLG Group from day one, with a steady salary.
