One thing matters to us most: enough young, trained people on board. This is what we do about it with our partners.
- New boatmen for your crewsOur courses produce crew members with a service record book from basic safety training. Students of the three-year training course work on board from day one and progress step by step from boatman to boatmaster. - Practical training on boardGraduates gain experience on vessels crewed by TMLG Group. Shipping companies can also involve their own vessels in the training and shape their future crew.
- Simulator classroomsWe helped build classrooms in Děčín and at the University of Žilina. Students train while they are still at school.
- Talks by boatmastersOur instructors, working boatmasters, give talks to students at partner schools.
- Workshops and excursionsTogether we organise professional activities and show students what a career on the river looks like.
