Certificates and approvals Who authorised us, for what and when.
A course certificate only counts if it is issued by an organisation the state has authorised to do so. Here are the decisions of the Slovak Transport Authority (Dopravný úrad), the Slovak and Czech ministries of transport and the Slovak Ministry of Health that allow us to teach in Hlohovec and Děčín. For each one you will find what exactly it covers, the date and a scan of the original.
We are approved to teach the training course in German too.
On 4 September 2026 the Slovak Transport Authority approved an extension of our authorisation. We may now also teach the training course for crew members at operational and management level in German.

All decisions are held by TFLP s.r.o., which runs the classroom in Hlohovec. Where the decision states how long it is valid, we show it.
We may run basic safety training for inland navigation crew members in the Czech Republic on the basis of two decisions of the Czech Ministry of Transport (Ministerstvo dopravy ČR). One is held by TFLP s.r.o., the other by the Czech company Tmlg Academy s.r.o., based in Děčín.
The Slovak Transport Authority approved the ship-handling simulator in Hlohovec as equipment for the practical exam for the UNION patent (Union certificate of qualification as boatmaster) and for the Radar patent. For the simulator’s radar equipment we publish the type approvals of the German Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV) and the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity.
Both companies behind TMLG Academy have a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015. The certificate is valid as long as the company maintains the quality system effectively.
